Academy Members can join us for our new Members-only Collection Tour Summer Series! Summer Series collection tours feature our same amazing collections and awesome scientists and staff but are geared toward school aged kids and their families.

During this tour, you will explore the archives by playing “What’s in the Box?”. Guided by Lottie Segal, Project Archivist, the group will wander through the archive stacks and be shown various items in their containers. Experience a sense of discovery as you speculate what's in the box before having the answer revealed and discussed (You may even have a chance to hold the item!). 

This tour is specifically designed for children 6 years and older accompanied by an adult.

Space is very limited. This members-only program is free, but registration is required. Members, please sign in to register for this program.
