Academy Explorers camp is a full-day program from 9am-4pm for campers ages 10-12. Exploring different exhibits, the museum will be a launch pad for campers to explore different environmental problems, meet real scientists, develop experiments and solutions, and go on a weekly field trip.

Enjoy pay-what-you-wish admission and a festive, family-friendly atmosphere and the Dino Drafts Beer Garden in Dinosaur Hall, plus hands-on, cool activities that will bring you face-to-face with real scientists!

This is a pay-what-you-wish event, with a recommended contribution of $10.

Sensory-friendly mornings (9-11 a.m. on designated dates) can be a comfortable, calmer way for people with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning or cognitive disabilities to explore the museum.

Admission is limited to event attendees during the first hour of each Sensory Friendly Morning; special programs continue through 11 AM.

Witness the museum come to life as a stunning runway where students debut unique garments made from recycled and repurposed materials. These designs give new life to forgotten and discarded items, which will be showcased against the striking backdrop of the Academy’s dinosaurs and wildlife dioramas.
