Academy Explorers camp is a full-day program from 9am-4pm for campers ages 10-12. Exploring different exhibits, the museum will be a launch pad for campers to explore different environmental problems, meet real scientists, develop experiments and solutions, and go on a weekly field trip.

Sensory-friendly mornings (9-11 a.m. on designated dates) can be a comfortable, calmer way for people with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning or cognitive disabilities to explore the museum.
Admission is limited to event attendees during the first hour of each Sensory Friendly Morning; special programs continue through 11 AM.

Environmental Leadership Summer Academy
July 13-19, 2024
Participate in an immersive weeklong Environmental Science residency at the Lighthouse Center for Natural Resources Education, during which we will spend the week outside conducting real science on Barnegat Bay and in the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
